Horrible, would not recommend, and if you need a refund you'll never receive it!

American Blinds is horrible. I ordered two window coverings online: pleated shades for two windows. After a week from ordering I got a message on my ansering machine saying that one of the colors I ordered had been discontinued and do I want to go ahead with the order and pick another color or just stick with the shade that wasn't discontinued. I called the very next day. Explained the message I received. After sitting on hold for 15 minutes while customer service looked in their computer to see what I was talking about, she then told me that my order had been cancelled completely. I asked her why since only one of the shades had a discontinued color and I still wanted the otehr shade. She said she didn't know. It has now been over a month and they have not refunded my money. I've emailed the site twice about this. They cancel your order without your permission, then keep your money. I called customer service again and they had a lengthy form they wanted me to fill out and answer a bunch of questions. I requested that they please just give me my money back since their the ones that cancelled the order. They put me on hold another 20 minutes, than I was disconnected. I'm so fed up with them I wouldn't recommend this site at all unless you are lucky enough to know exactly what you want without having to ask customer service, and that your item is actually in stock. The item I ordered that wasn't in stock is still listed on the site after a month of it being discontinued. Also, their prices are not the cheapest at all, in fact, they are 15% more than most of the sites I've visited, which is why it is easy for them to give 15% promotional coupon and discount codes. To this day they still have not refunded my credit card and I don't know how to get my money back. As far as I'm concerned they are thieves.
