Pros: No filters, clean smelling air, works as advertised
Cons: high cost, bright light on unit.
The Bottom Line: A good choice when looking at air cleaners. I will be buying a second unit and maybe a third.

I bought the Ionic Pro for my bedroom and really like it. Cost was $149.00 at Wal-Mart. I was originally looking at the Ionic Breeze, but couldn't bring myself to pay $350.00 for an air cleaner. I have had my Ionic Pro for about 3 months and do not regret buying it, I just wish it was cheaper.
Okay, the thing does remove dust from my bedroom and leaves a nice smell. I usually have to clean the blades about every 4-5 days. I was shocked that I have to clean it so much because I vacuum every other day and thought that that cut down on the dust. One surprise is that I still have to dust and yes dust still collects on my ceiling fan blades. Just a little FYI, my ceiling fan runs 24/7. best thing about these units is that you do not have to buy filters, just clean the blades.
Every so often the unit does start to buzz like a bug zapper, the manual says to perform a deep cleaning buy raising a bar that cleans the voltage lines in the unit but this doesn't seem to do much so I use my air compressor to blow out the unit and the noise is stopped. Only other complaints is that the light on the front of the unit is very bright! I covered it with a piece of tape and now it doesn't bother me. I have a 1800 sq foot house and plan on buying another unit for the downstairs. Each unit is supposed to be good for a 500sq ft room.
