I've added this statement to my review:
SageTV lists for $80 at the SageTV store, although a more effective way to purchase SageTV is bundled with a Hauppage tuner at www.pcalchemy.com. Prices for the SageTV/Hauppage TV tuner bundles there start at $115.
I've not used Tivo, but from reading reviews and articles, my impression is that SageTV compares well with Tivo, without the monthly fees.
