Good movie, incorrect quote (Reply to this comment)
by robbjackson
Greetings,
Actually the quote is" You gonna do something or just
Stand there and bleed?" The "smoke wagon" comment was the first in a series of three, with the bleeding one being the third.
Good list of movies, I liked "Silverado" as well, but they're all personal preferences.

some gooduns. Sorry to see that Wild Bunch didn't make the list. It's hard to narrow it down to ten, though. Also loved the Alamo, and Cowboys. For the Duke, other than his 60s and 70s movies which I think were some of his very best, I like to watch Red River and Searchers - also most any of his WWII movies are Dynomite. Great job!

Nice list (Reply to this comment)

Thanks for your thoughts. Personally, I agree with you on most of the choices and I would also have included the OK Corral up there.

Great list of films. Glad to see you mentioned High Noon and hope you get to see it sometime. It's a great western. Also glad to see The Magnificent Seven on your list.

Weren't You Forgetting Something? (Reply to this comment)

I cannot believe that "The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance" did not make the list. I would have probably put it with "The Magnificent Seven" in a 1-2 finish.
You write great reviews, esp. of the top ten variety.
