The Bottom Line: If you have problems with certain products and you want satisfaction, fast ~ this is where to go to get it!

Having lived a long time, I've seen many changes. One in particular, is the way in which consumers problems are handled. For many years, the old saying: "The customer is always right!" meant something, even if the customer wasn't always right! At least they were treated in a very courteous way, with (almost always) a solution for their problem being found in a short amount of time.

Today, all of that has changed, (for the most part) and frustration has taken over, where satisfaction once prevailed. This had been true for me, until I found PlanetFeedback.com!

I came across PlanetFeedback.com quite by accident one day, as I was looking through the Epinions website, trying to find where to place one of my reviews. Don't remember if it was on a banner, but it caught my attention and I clicked on it. That was the start of a beautiful relationship!

What I found, was a website that will not only get results for you, with a complaint about a product, but will do much more, too!

They will help you:

Write a complaint, compliment, question, or suggestion to any company or organization you choose.

You write a brief description of your details, with their step by step guidance, and they will turn it into a very professional-looking business letter, which you can then proofread and when it meets with your approval, you hit "Send" and they will mail it to the right person at the right place!

You can also check out their site for other people's comments and complaints about companies, and how their problems were solved. You don't have to become a member, either, to use their site, but you have extra benefits by joining.

These are the results I had, by using PlanetFeedback.com:

On Friday, March 23, 2001
, a complaint to Ralston Purina was sent, regarding Purina Special Care Urinary Tract, a brand of their cat food I had been purchasing for over 5 years. I explained all the reasons why I knew two of the bags of food were bad and asked for a refund for all three 16 pound bags. (Two of which my cats refused to eat, the other was unopened) I also explained that being disabled and having to rely on others to shop for me, I have them buy enough cat food to last for 3 months at a time, and told them I would hold on to the cat food if they would like to have it to test, so that they can see just what the problem was that caused my 3 cats to lose all the weight they did, and become sickly looking and acting, plus it might help others to not have to go through the same thing.

On Saturday, March 24, 2001, I received a response from Ralston Purina asking for the purchase price of the cat food and was told:
"Upon receipt we'll be happy to send a check, along with several high value coupons with the hope you will again use our product."

I responded with the purchase price of $38.91. Within one week, I received a check in the amount of $39, with 2 coupons for any of their Purina brand cat food, (one package, up to 10 lbs.) worth up to $7.94 each!

Now, I don't know about you, but PlanetFeedback.com is definitely something I'm going to use from now on!

Note: While they did refund my purchase price on all 3 bags, and sent me valuable coupons, they did not mention anything about being interested in checking out the questionable cat food, which has led me to believe that: 1) they already knew about the problem, or 2) they didn't care to find out what caused it. Don't know if I'll ever use the 2 coupons they gave me, anytime soon, but they expire in a year, so I have a little while to think about trusting that brand, again.
