If you'd actually READ the reivew instead of skimming it, you'd notice that what I reported to the companies was that I lost the DVD. For that, Netflix charges $20, Blockbuster lets you off free of charge.

Lost in the mail is a different thing and works the same at both sites.

Netflix does understand disks get lost in the mail and that sometimes they get damanged in the mail. I've reported disks lost or as arriveing damanged and so far haven't been charged. Only time they charge for the disk is if you report that YOU lost or damanged the disk, not the postoffice.
