I have been using Sun and Earth Ultra Dishwashing Liquid and All Purpose Cleaner for quite awhile and love it. I don't ordinarily pay a little extra for cleaning products (aren't they all the same??), but I will for this stuff. The local grocery store recently had a 2 for one sale on all Sun and Earth products and I stocked up. I love the laundry soap! No dyes, no harsh chemicals and never tested on our furry friends. I highly recommend Sun and Earth for cleaning ability (A++++++), scent, and, yes...price. I haven't yet tried their fabric softener, but that's next on my "to get" list.

After having a horrible experience with a product which is supposed to be non-toxic (Simple Green-see review if you would like under this topic), I decided I need a safe product, I mean really safe. I purchased Planet which is non toxic, hypoallergenic, and I may review it in the near future.

It is easily found in the grocery store.I am happy with it; it is fine, but read another review on Sun and Earth (jro24) and so am awaiting the delivery of that product. I love the smell of citrus.

Thanks again for your feelings on this product. It excites me even more. Wish it would arrive, and I can't believe how inexpensive the sample pack is.

I didn't know that they had a sampler. Thanks. I've used the all-purpose before but not the others.

The thing is, you should not automattically asume a long chemical name means the chemical involved is dangerous. There are probably 100,000 or more chemicals with complex names I would prefer to see in my ingrediants, than the dreaded hydrogen fluoride, which has a simple name. It is also known as HF. Just becuase a molecules name sounds complicated, doesn't necessarily mean it is dangerous. It is often the simple ones that are lethal to the environment, and to us. you cant judge a book by its cover in this case. If you would look at the chemical make-up of an apple, you would see many long chemical names. Are they harmful? NO. Are they good for us? YES.

I do like that you are concerned with the environment. This may seem funny to most, but I am a Republican whose' first concern is always environment(a Californian Republican). Any info you can give that will help in this area, is looked upon with admiration from most the nation. If only everyone would put our planet, and how we leave it for our kids and grandkids first, we could make remarkable headway.

Great review:)

We haven't used this particular product line that I know of.... (Reply to this comment)

...but we do shop at Whole Foods and Trader Joe's, and more often than not pick up non-toxic cleaning products from their house brand shelves.
We have a fair amount of allergies in our family -- to fragrances especially -- and pick and choose our products very carefully. I'll keep an eye out for "Sun and Earth."

Every little bit helps. Good post.
