A while ago, my wife and I, (while we were still living in Reno), my wife and I made another trip to Lake Tahoe and decided to stay for the weekend. We used to love going to Lake Tahoe and we miss having the ability to go there. We went skiing at Heavenly (please see my opinion on them, it's an older one) and stayed at Harveys.

Immediately from the beginning, we were impressed with Harveys. The lobby was beautifully decorated and very clean. When you walk into the hotel registration area, there is a large fountain in the middle. We've seen a lot of casinos as we lived in Nevada many years, but this one was different. It was very clean and beautiful. Check-in was very easy and we quickly made it to our room. The employees were all very courteous.

The room was spacious and very nice. The bathroom had tile on the floor and in the shower. I had never seen a hotel bathroom so beautiful. I felt like we were staying at a friend's house. (Maybe even a rich friend's house!) From our hotel room, we had an incredible view of both the lake and the mountains. We could see people on the ski slopes!

I didn't gamble much in the casino. Living in Nevada for a while will teach you to avoid casinos. The casino was average.

The best part about staying at Harveys was the deal we got. Unfortunately, it's been a couple of years and I don't remember how much it was, although I remember we were impressed with the price. We found the deal online at the website. For more information, see their site at www.harveys.com

I would recommend Harveys for anyone making a trip to Tahoe. You won't be upset!
