I was in the Library TODAY and I must have heard five phones go off! BUT the worse part is when they talk and talk at such a loud level! It would have been better if mine didn't go off as I was checking out! LOL

Great title - having worked in a library for a few years I couldn't resist it.
I've still managed to resist buying one of the wretched things but if and when I do I now know what to read first.

Depending on the area you are in the US, there is Calling Party Pays service, however it is not very popular, and hard to manage.
Most of the basics translate well into choosing American wireless service. The main difference in the US and Europe's wireless service is simply the main type of technology used. Europe uses the GSM standard while GSM is quite limited in the US....
