The Bottom Line: Leave it on the shelf. The Ricoh drive is very undependable and needs repairs often.

Opinion and Experiences
I purchased this to use for home use to make copies of cd’s and storage on the Cd-RW discs. The drive consitently ruined the cr-r discs and created incompleted discs. I tried several of the Ricoh software updates never with any success. After repeated calls to the Tech Support they said it sounded like it needed to be re-certified which made it more reasonable to purchase a new one. The Cd-RW was fine to the end when I finally had to replace it.

Warranty Information
1 year limited warranty. Must return to Ricoh for service.

Our Recommendation
You can do a lot better than the Ricoh Cd-RW.
