you should add something in your CONTROLS section about the continuous volume control (to match the sub level with your other speakers) and the continuous cut-off control (I roll my own sub off low, since my regular speakers go to about 35 hz). I agree with you that a 10" or 12" generally provides the best balance between depth and control.
