Cooked on grease??Aug 29 '01 Write an essay on this topic. The Bottom Line They dont call it Arm & Hammer for no reason at all. Do your pots and pans have a buildup of grease baked on them? Do you find that using a steel wool scratches the painted surface, or that cleaning abrasives scratch the finish? I have learned how to keep my cook-ware looking as good as the day I bought it. All you need is a dishrag and a box of baking soda, sprinkle the baking soda onto the baked on grease and scrub the pans, heavily soiled pans may require a plastic scratcher and a little more elbow grease. This method of cleaning pans works well on most types of pans, including cookie sheets and all. I also use this method for cleaning my stove. I might add that it's a far cheaper way than buying expensive cleaning agents and I believe it works better. |
