I was searching for flight information for weeks. Kept hoping the prices would go down on what I wanted. I checked numerous sites and also called the airlines themselves to compare the prices. I kept returning to Expedia.com all the time. They had the same prices I was quoted from the airlines and they were cheaper than some of the other sites I had checked.
Expedia lets you check round trip prices and also one way. I happend to be looking for one way prices. They have you choose the cities you want and times you are looking for. When you put in that information it brings you all kinds of flight information. Of course, I go for the cheapest so they would bring up the cheapest flights all the way up to the, are you crazy flights..ha! They list all the different times that are leaving and give you all the information you need on stops, snacks and everything. When you choose the one you want and you give them all your information and they start the process right away.
Before you know it right there in front of you from the convenience of your home is your flight information you choose. They even ask you if you would prefer window or aisle, and what type of meal do you prefer if you have one on your flight. It was great! I did all of the choosing that they asked of me and there came my itinerary with my seating information and if there was a snack or meal, the times and type of plane and everything.
Expedia was quick and easy to work with. I will definitely work with them again when looking for flight information. They also advertise for rental cars, hotels and all of that fun stuff if you need it. I am sure that if I did need that I definitely would have done it thru expedia also. I highly recommend this site to anyone trying to find out prices for your trip.
Check around and see what you end up going back to. It is free and easy to register with them. They email you all of your info and you can go back to expedia's site and it has all your information saved in there also so you can go back and check it all out. They keep a history of trips you take for you. This is my first one but I am sure there will be additionals soon. Why pay a travel agent that extra $15 - $30 when you can do it all from your own home.
