I order an Olympus D-595 Camera via the Internet on a Friday or Saturday. The following Tuesday morning, a very pleasant gentleman called and said my order had shipped and reminded me that I did not buy a memory card. I told them I did not need one and the conversation ended without issue. Since it was coming from NY via DHL I expected it on Wednesday or Thursday but it did not come. On Friday afternoon I called and was told it had just shipped that day and they could not explain why I had been told it had already shipped. The following Tuesday, I received tracking information that appeared to show my camera had just shipped that day. I called and was told that it had just shipped and they did not know why it took so long or why I had been told it had already shipped in the prior to conversations. My camera arrived the very next day and it just as described. I needed some accessories for the camera but had decided it was best to have the camera in hand before I ordered them from another vendor. Due to the delay in receiving the camera, I was now in rush to buy accessories and had to pay a premium to receive them in time for a planned trip.
