Well, you are right about that. The pads are available at robomaid.com: $11.99 for 24, $29.97 for 72 or $47.97 for 144. I am still only on my fourth pad and I have been using this product for about two months. They are easy to clean off and reuse but it won't be too long before I will need more. I only have one or two places in my house where I could use it, but wondered where and how you get the pad refills and how much they cost. I figured that they have you pay a cheap up front cost to buy the thing, and then sock you on the pads!
