The Bottom Line This is good clean fun!
The dog days of summer are over and school has started. What better way to send off summer than a party????? This is also wonderful for birthdays, or when you're overwrought by bored children! ***WHAT YOU NEED**** 1. A dark night--The darker the better. We have our light shows shortly after sunset. 2. Several bored kids-- They don't have to be bored. Just invite a small group of kids over. 3. Flashlights--Either have enough flashlights for everyone handy or have them bring their own. 4. Colored Cellophane Wrap--This is a relatively new product put out by REYNOLDS and can be found on the paper goods aisle at your local grocer. They have several different colors like red, blue, green, and turquoise. 5. Lawn Sprinkler--Or a garden hose with a spay nozzle on the end. Have all the kids wear their swimsuits. Take the colored cellophane and wrap the end of each flashlight, you can attach with rubber bands if needed. Turn on the sprinkler/hose and watch the beautiful light show as the kids shine their flashlights on the water. I have served hotdogs before hand and we had a blast!  |
