You're welcome! How long has it been for you? I've helped a ton of people plan vacations there so if you have ANY questions about new attractions/restaurants/etc., please feel free to email me. I would love to just write and chat about Disney vacations all day long :).

Also, if you're looking for a place to share your excitement about your upcoming trip, www.passporter.com is a lot of fun. I also love www.laughingplace.com to get the dirt on the latest rumors about Disney changes.

Have SO MUCH FUN! (Of course you will!)

Whooops...just saw this comment even though you wrote it a while ago :).

If its been over a year, it is certainly time to go! Lots of other new stuff is there by now too.

I am going to DisneyWorld in 23 days (yes I'm counting down) and this review got me pumped up about seeing the new Soarin' ride. Having not been to Disney in 4 years, I'm way overdue. I've been 8 times, my first trip being when I was 3, and the most recent when I was 20. And I've loved every moment (that I can remember) of every trip. Thank you for writing such awesome reviews of my favorite place to visit!

just returned from WDW and he was raving about this new ride. Nice to see a review of it here. Time to convince my wife to plan another trip down there. Hey, it's been over a year now!

I commented to my mom that I could have spent fifteen minutes just flying over Disneyland! I'm scheduled to make my first visit there to celebrate my law school graduation in a year and a half. After visiting Disneyland Paris this summer I can't wait to visit all the Disney theme parks!

Michelle, you are right, this is a fantastic ride. It did California justice, from the mountains to the orange groves to the deck of an aircraft carrier in the harbor to the flyover of what could have been any SoCal surf spot. You could tell the final scene was Disneyland because of the Matterhorn mountain which isn't in WDW. Disneyland is much smaller and has only one hotel (but it does have one of the world's largest parking structures).

Another great review! Now I don't "have to" write anything up... ha ha ha.

Lucky you, going in December. Whenever I arrive home from a visit I'm ready to go back! You will love this ride I think.

California dreaming (Reply to this comment)

*Sigh.* Having lived in California most of my life, I'd be more curious to see how the Golden State is interpreted. Judging by the details you provided, I've seen first-hand most of the scenery it duplicates. The parts I haven't explored yet is the northern section that's considered Southern Oregon.

This is another excellent review. Keep on writing.
