LIQUID APPLIQUE

The Bottom Line Liquid Applique makes your cards look fluffy and interesting.
Of course, when I was introduced to Liquid Applique, I had to try it! Liquid Applique comes in small tubes that almost look like a fat pencil with a tip. There are eleven colors that I have found so far, from white all the way to black.
This is the procedure that I used for my rubber stamped greeting cards with Liquid Applique:
You will need:
Card stock
ink pad
stamp or stamp set
liquid applique
heat gun
As an example: If you stamp a daisy unto your card stock and you want the center of the daisy to be brown in color, you take a brown liquid applique and squeeze it gently unto the center of your image. When it is filled in, take your heat gun and dry it. It will puff up to look fluffy and three dimensional.
I have stamped cards with sheep images, then used white liquid applique, squeezing it, here and there on the sheep. You will have to feel it to believe that it is not wool that you are looking at. It is so real looking!
I think that you will have a lot of fun experimenting with different colored liquid applique.
It is yet another technique that the stamp companies have invented so that we stampers do not have a lack of things to purchase! Enjoy!
