One of San Diego's best kept secrets
by andaryl | Sep 05 '01
A light refreshing ale, with an uncompromising hoppiness. There’s enough quality craftsmanship to be appreciated by microbrew enthusiasts, as well as a lighter delicacy to earn widespread enjoyment.

Sigh... (Reply to this comment)

...I passed by our favorite pub last week, and for the first time all summer, I had to battle not to go in and try a brew.

Remembering the horrible suffering I had from last time, though, I passed it up.

This fall is going to be weird without it.....

I still like reading your reviews, though!

I like the idea of apricot, wish I'd thought of that.

I go back to my unfinish tasting notes from earlier this summer:

"A floral nose, with aromas bending towards the citric. In flavor, this one has some grapefruit tones, along with some stone fruit... particularly apricot."

A very nice ale. I like it. Another great review, Andrew.
