Pros: harware J-MPEG compression
Cons: Poor Matrox support
The Bottom Line: Now, what good is an Excellent Hardware with poor software support? Avoid Matrox if you can, get ATI or another of their competitors with good after-sale support.

| chrb's Full Review: Matrox Marvel G200-TV |
Windows 2000. Matrox have released earlier this year beta drivers and have not done anything since then. Moreover, people that buy a Matrox are people that do video editing and usually it is at its best with windows 2000 since the 4GB file limit (18 mins. of DV) is bypassed.
.... Matrox driver programming dept. is probably thinking "This is fun.... people are complaining, Let's do something, Nooooo To complicated... forget it!"
I'm actually worried about purchasing a Matrox RT-2000, who knows in the near future if my investment will become obsolete, due to abandoned software support. I'm seriously looking at Matrox competition.... (as many others do)
