I Myself am a Games console collector.I now own over 20 differant classic consoles and 1 or 2 more recent ones (such as playstations)
So I know what im talking about :)
Although slightly less powerfull than the sega Master system (which was at the time its rival console)It was still majorly prefered because of the relative cheapness and the good games bundel That came with it.
Its nice to own a NES because it some of the games were classics and the gameplay was supurb (especially for its time)The graphics were rather stunning when it was released though the sounds were a little "bleepy" They still beat the majority of other released consoles.
One great thing about the NES is that So many were bought that it is relatively easy to still find games and accesorys.
Make sure the insides of the cartridge slot are clean if you intend to buy one second hand otherwise you may need to clean it up and your games may flicker a little (As with all consoles really)

The cartridge slot faces horizontally so it doesnt fill with dust like the consoles that have upright facing cartridge slots.

Not THE most pretty Thing to look at but they do fit well into corners next to your Television.

Make sure it comes with - The Console itself, Power adapter, A cable that runs from the console to the back of your Televison set.
