Great Choices (Reply to this comment)

I love your list--especially numbers 8, 12 and 15. Makes me want to go to the attic and dig out those tie-dyed bell-bottoms!!

Add some Sunshine (Reply to this comment)
by beckytcy
Great list. "Disraeli Gears," definitely one of the best albums of all time, was released in 1967. "Sunshine of your Love" (or another Cream song) should be on your list. They broke up before the '70s started, so any Cream song fits. Cream is my favorite (or, to be correct, FAVOURITE) band ever. And, I totally agree with you about "No Sugar Tonight/New Mother Nature" by the Guess Who.

Ohio's a no-go (Reply to this comment)

I don't know about Disraeli Gears, but Ohio was doesn't fit into the 60's. It was written in response to the Kent State shootings in May of 1970. Great song, though...

Re: Awesome+list... (Reply to this comment)

i had to make a decision between "Turn Turn Turn" and "Let's Get Together". I chose "LGTogether" because it's more hippie and is more peace and love. I guess you can say "Turn Turn Turn" is the honorary #23.
Thanx for feedback

Like A Rolling Stone (Reply to this comment)

Lots of artists can do Dylan's songs good, but no one can do "Like a Rolling Stone" better than Mick Jagger, I prefer it by him even though Dylan's version will always be a staple of the sixties. MzRizz.
