Do not buy!

Pros:Anti-Drip, Burst of Steam, Auto-off, uses tap water
Cons:Steam is not continual, Steam button broke, iron does not reheat continuously
The Bottom Line: Do not waste your time or money even thinking about the Rowenta P2 iron. It broke in 31 days and I never used it every day either!

First, I'd like to let you know that this is my first epinion. I felt compelled to advise anyone who is thinking of purchasing this iron to not waste your time or money. Also, I wanted to share with you my experience of having used the Rowenta P2 Professional Iron.

Here's my experience, I went to the store and seen the P2 and thought because of its price, I would get a terrific iron that hopefully would last a long time. I looked at the packaging and read all the wonderful features the P2 stated it had. Primarily, I was interested in the "burst of steam" feature. I had always used starch in the past and thought if the steam feature could give me that crisp look, I would eliminate the starch and use the steam. Well the instructions stated that the iron's light will turn off when it is ready for ironing. No problem, the light turned off and I ironed my first shirt. When the iron needs to reheat, the light will continuously turn on and off. Then as I started to notice the next shirt, the steam feature would burst out steam (when pressing the button) and then the iron does not continuously steam. In order to get a second burst of steam, you need to wait a while. Also, the light goes out and never turns back on (after a few shirts). So, you need to unplug the iron wait a few seconds, plug it back in and then the light will go on (which shows it's heating up again). This iron lasted 31 days, just enough so I couldn't get a refund at our local store. The steam button is broke, as it seems that there is no pressure in the button for it to retract itself. This was a true lesson learned and I hope I helped others in my evaluation.
