This was absolutely the worst online shopping experience I have ever had.
I purchased a camera from PriceRitePhoto on eBay through the “Buy It Now” option. The purchase was paid for immediately using PayPal. PriceRitePhoto then tried to contact me by phone, leaving messages on my phone machine. They were unable to contact me for a few days. The purpose for the unwanted phone calls was to sell me extra items (more memory, extended warranty, etc.). PriceRitePhoto delayed shipping the camera until they could contact me and finally shipped the camera five days after I purchased it. I received the camera and accessories and was happy with the items but I was dissatisfied with the sales tactics and the shipment delay so I left negative feedback about the sales tactics and delay on eBay. Within an hour of leaving the feedback I received a phone call from PriceRitePhoto demanding that I change the feedback. I refused to change the feedback and within 15 minutes I was notified by eBay that the seller was claiming that I had not paid for the camera yet. I responded through eBay that I had paid and then, almost immediately, I received notice from eBay that the seller could not settle the dispute and as a result I was given and "Unpaid Item Strike". PriceRitePhoto made no attempt to contact me and “settle” the dispute since they knew full well that I had paid for the items. PriceRitePhoto then left negative feedback about me claiming that I “Lied in feedback in an attempt to extort extras" which was a bold faced lie! I stand by the feedback I left as an exact record of what transpired and in no way did I try to get any “extras”. PriceRitePhoto lied about me in a public forum and ruined my record on eBay.
