The Bottom Line: It has great speed, quality of print, ease of use, and is just fun to print things with it.

To start it all off, when I plan on buying a product I go to a store that carries the product to look at the different ones they offer. Before christmas of 2000, I was in the need for a printer. Me being only 15 right now I dont have a lot of money to dish out. I thought to myself how I could get my parents to get me a printer. I thought.."christmas is only about 2 weeks away so i will put it on my list". Of course to most parents you have to explain the exact thing you want or they will get the wrong thing. One day I went into Best Buy to look at the printers. I was looking at the Epson 777. I thought it was a pretty good deal. I turned around and saw the Xerox M750 sitting on its display rack and I walked over to it and pressed the print sample button. It shot out a picture really fast. I looked over the samples of both printers and said to my self "why not just spend 50 bucks more for the xerox (at the time the xerox was $149 and the epson was $99. I came back home and logged on to epinions and was looking at the reviews for the m750 and the epson 777. The reviews for the m750 looked for more better. When I went back to best buy to show my mom the M750, it was gone and they said they had sold out and were not going to sell them anymore. So we went to office depot to see if they had them, and they did. So I walked up to the case and to my amazement, it only cost $99. I was sooo happy. My mom was too. So she bought it right there and then, but she didnt let me open the box until christmas. So christmas finally came around and I got to set the printer up. I have an Emachines 600is with 160MB of ram and had no problem setting it up. Once i got it running, I printed page after page and photo after photo. One of the things i like about it is that when you are just using plain paper and printing a picture, it doesnt use that much ink and the quality is still good but not the best it can do. If you use photo paper and set the paper type in the printer setup menu to photo paper and turn picture logic on, it will give you the best looking printed picture you have ever seen. I even took the printed photos back to best buy and got on a computer there with one of those $400 HP P2000 inkjet photo printers and printed the same picture on photo paper and my Xerox surpassed the quality of that printer. I even have a HP 722C on my other computer that cost $400 and my xerox surpasses that too. My mom was mad at Xerox because the M750 was not on the market when we bought our HP. Anyways, after a while of using the printer, i started to the error message of "Printer not located on LPT1 (the printer port)". I thought i tried everthing to fix it and it didnt work. So i logged on to xerox's online support and they said make sure the setting on your motherboard's bios is set to ECP. So i did that and it worked again. I was even happier after that because it dramatically increased the speed of the printer, there was not pausing time inbetween sweeps of the print head. After all i have printed and 5 months later it is time for new print cartriges. I plan on just buy a universal inkjet refill kit to fix that.
