Ease of Ordering:
BEWARE!! DO NOT BUY LARGE TICKET ELECTRONIC ITEMS FROM QVC!!! I am sorry to say, but my experience shopping w/ QVC has been the absolute worst I've ever experienced (and trust me I shop way to much). I tirelessly researched what notebook computer I wanted to buy. I saw that QVC offered an Easy Pay system of 4 payments at no additional cost/interest. For the $2000 Toshiba Qosmio notebook I wanted, it seemed ideal to spread payments of $500 over the next couple of months, especially since Christmas is approaching. I purchased it online with the help of a QVC rep over the phone 4 days ago, only to recieve a call this morning that they will not allow me to use the Easy Pay system for the purchase UNLESS I PURCHASE MORE ITEMS FROM THEM over the next month using the Easy Pay option. They do NOT disclose on the website this little "rule" that for big ticket items, they want you to establish a history of Easy Pay payments. The QVC rep that called me was completely rude and unsympathetic. This basically threw a huge crimp in my Christmas plans since this particular notebook is sold out in many places. I told her she just lost a $2000 sale and luckily, I've just bought my new Toshiba from Circuit City today. I'm very pleased with my purchase and will never deal w/ QVC again. So just be careful: even though your Easy Pay option (if you choose it) is secured by your major credit card of your choice, they don't care at QVC. They will tell you that they want you to buy more from them (lining their pockets) before they'll "allow" you the flexible purchasing option of Easy Pay. Horrible business practice and I'll never consider them again.
