Pros: One unit that does everything. Great picture at an affordable price.
Cons: So far none.
The Bottom Line: I would recommend this projector. The picture is clear and sharp and the system is basically plug it in, put in a DVD and enjoy.

I have had the optoma DV10 for just about a week and I have just finished watching my third movie. So far, the DV10 is everything I had hoped it would be. The picture is sharp and clear and the sound is very good considering the size of the two small speakers. I have to admit I was a little concerned after reading the two negative reviews on epinions. The one issue was the over heat light and the other was a concern about a nasty smell. Well, I have not had either problem and I have had the system running for about 7 hours on different days. There is a very faint smell that is barely noticeable when you sit directly to the left of the DV10's exhaust port.( the lamp does throw out a considerable amount of heat) When you sit to the right or rear I could not smell anything and I am very sensitive to smell. I read the user manual cover to cover before operating the DV10 and except for a few typo's the manual was very straight forward and even explained how to change the lamp when service is required.
I enjoy watching movies and I enjoy the big screen experience. The DV10 has made movie watching exciting again. The only thing I would recommend is that you shop around before buying the DV10. I paid $1,299.00 from compusa and received a 92 inch screen and sub woofer with the projector. (shipping was free) If you are really into watching movies at home on the big screen, this is a great machine.
