I must say that you're the perfect person to write these words--you and/or the family of Hard_To_Please, and/or imames whose little Emily has had a long struggle with eye cancer and still needs another surgery on November 16.
While these mixed-up people place no value even on their own lives, much less the lives of others, there are so many people out there who are wishing for those precious five minutes that you wrote of in the article after this one!

Just leaves you kind of numb. The only thing that makes me more upset than what happened are the people that a day later are just bouncing around like nothing happened, totally involved in their own little world.
Phone call:
Me- How are you ?
Them- GREAT! I am buying some food, and having fun and prayed once yesterday so I am enjoying my life now. How are YOU?
Me- Wiped out.
Them- that's nice. Well, I can not wait to go to the amusement park and blah blah blah.
I know that some people deal with grief differently but INDIFFERENTLY?
Irks me, that is all.
Does not mean we have to sink into a lump of depression, but heck, mourn with those who mourn. We are ALL part of this, like it or not!
