Should have checked the Epinions and unsatisfactory Better Business Bureau rating first!!! Poor manufacture quality & customer service:
Received 82"x58" real wood 2" blind '3-on-1 headrail' Apr/05. Initially thought the stringers holding the blinds rather flimsy, but they worked .... for six months! In Oct/05 one of the ladder strings pulled loose resulting in the blind hanging akilter. Called "Customer service" advising of problem. Was told the factory would call back to say how they would handle. Next day was told to ship the blind back to the factory.
Since this is a 7ft blind, asked if they would send a shipping carton. They told me to cut up "as many as 10" old boxes to manufacture a shipping container myself. I asked about scratches and possible shipping damage. She said that's just the way they do it ...
This is street-level bedroom blind (no curtain) so being concerned as to how long repair would take, called them back and was told minimum three weeks for repair and return. I was also worried that since one stringer had pulled out, whether the remaining five would be checked and/or replaced since they were apparently cut too short in the first place. (The blind is much too heavy for the thin nylon ladder string holding it.) Was told that I would be required to send back once more if it happened again; they would only repair present problem. She did promise to send temporary paper shades to put up while waiting.
The next day received a message on answer machine saying that they WOULD NOT be sending me the temporary shades due to the age of the order (6mos?) and the blinds should be left on front porch for pickup. I don't keep extra boxes around to cut up just in case a shipping container is needed. I cannot remove a 7' blind by myself, much less stand it on my front porch. Since the quality is such that I'm certain the same problem will continue to surface, will replace blind ... totally dissatisfied with product quality and customer service. Would never consider buying from them again.
PS~According to Better Business Bureau, they also do business as 'No-Brainer Blinds', 'Blinds Aquisitions" and 'Blinds Wholesale'~ all receive UNSATISFACTORY rating with the BBB-Houston.
