Take up collections at your church or work, donate blood, but do not hate your neighbor.

what an amazing concept, and never so necessary as now. Great review, even better message.

I feel like I could have written this exact review. It is precisely what I would have said. Good job.

Like you and many others, I was numb by all of this. It is a highly charged atmosphere right now. I am deeply moved by the giving attitude and I have to also fight anger at the people who are selfishly living like nothing happened, hard hearts. Yet I realize that everyone has a different way to handle this time.

A few random comments.

I have to disagree with you on one point. The Clintons do have a lot of responsibility in this situation. They did refuse to do anything about the terrorists when they had the chance, and they also gave out our most precious secrets to even larger enemies than terrorists.

However, the time to do something about that was over the last 8 years. It is too late now.

Just like abortion, people made a choice. They voted in these selfish leaders, and the consequences have now started to manifest. Actions have responsibilities that is why we have to choose carefully what we say and do.

As for the racial profiling, people are so bizarre, they want so badly for retailiation that they look for the first target, making themselves as stupid as the terrorists that attacked the innocent people to get vengeance on their imaginary causes to problems.

Yet among this tendency to focus on the wrong things, I am overwhelmed with the pliable hearts who actually care and are working so hard to help others in this crisis.

The christian people who have been mocked and made fun of (and despised) for so long by the media and the entertainment addicted public are finally being embraced as partners in this horrible crisis.

It is so fabulous to see prayers offered freely on the screen, in cities and streets. (I speak of all prayers not just one kind here). It is so amazing to see people embracing one another.

A lot of people liken this to Pearl harbor, but it is even more awesome. In Pearl Harbor, the rest of the world did not express sorrow about the US, they were busy fighting for their lives and countries.

In this case, the world-wide unity of sorrow and grief is unprecedented. It is truly amazing.

God has blessed America, and may we not forget that after this is in history and no longer the present.

Whew, it felt nice to ramble a bit!
Glad you wrote about it, and shared your part and view!

I'm inspired by these events to make my play about some of the victims putting God on trial and one of the victims wears a turban. Great essay.
