Pros: Works as good as they say on the commercials.

The Bottom Line: Give the Magic Eraser a try... you'll be amazed.

| pin-pin's Full Review: Mr. Clean Magic Eraser |
I hate housework. I REALLY hate housework. So when a new product comes out that can help me do it as quickly and painlessly as possible... I'm all over it.
When I saw the TV commercial for the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser, I thought skeptically, "Yeah, right. Sure it works that well". If only everything worked as well in real life as it does in the commercial.
After seeing the commercial several times, and snorting "yeah right" each time I saw it, I was convinced I would never waste my money on such nonsense. It just sounded too good to be true. The only reason I ended up trying it was because one of the commercials offered a free sample... all I had to do was go to the website and request it. No cost, no fuss, no risk. So I went to the website and ordered my free sample, all the while thinking that when it arrived, I would prove my point (if only to myself)that there was no way this thing would do what the commercial promised. Boy, was I wrong!
These wonderful little white sponge blocks really do work like magic! I have no idea what makes them work so well, but does it really matter?? The fact is that there hasn't been a spot, mark, stain, or smudge on any surface in my house that the Magic Eraser hasn't been able to clean up. Just run it under the tap to wet it and scrub. You don't even need to scrub that hard usually. It leaves no residue, smears or streaks. When you're done, rinse it out and put it away for next time. They are reusable as long as there's something left to use. They get a little smaller each time it's used.
I've used the Eraser for burnt-on spills on my stovetop, crusted on spills in the microwave, stubborn or dried on stains on the countertop, and each time I doubted that it would work... but each time I was proven wrong yet again.
The only complaint I have, and it's not even really a complaint, is that on my stainless steel sink, it doesn't leave a shine. It does clean it, but it's left with a dull look and not the usual shine that comes with other cleaners. Other than that, there's nothing bad I can say about it.
You'll be very happy with the results you get from the Eraser in every room in your house.
