God bless America. (Reply to this comment)

I may still be English, but this is my home. I have cried with my friends and prayed with them too. This is my country too.
Even my family in England feel the same way. There is nothing they would not do to help.

You voiced many of the same things I have been feeling! I haven't felt like writing at epinions either.
It is sad that our kids cannot pray at school, but I am glad that our government still does ... and I am thankful for a Godly president!
Take care,
Sue

Much of the same feelings. (Reply to this comment)

I woke up Sept 11 and became angry because the neighbours had slung their hose over my fence. Then I turned on the news and felt very petty. The neighbours can sling their hose over my fence any time now, it doesn't matter.

Who cares about Epinions at a time like this - a mascara review is simply meaningless!
I, too, live close to the crash site in Pa., it's scary that terrorism has hit so close to home.
Thanks for sharing -

Thank you, StacyB, for sharing your feelings. I think it really helps to express how one is feeling in writing. Reading your essay helped me too. Somehow America will rise through this. Take care and God Bless America!

You express the feelings that we all share. People around the world are united in their shock, grief and outrage. God Bless America and may there be peace in our world.

God bless America and you also (Reply to this comment)

Thank you for sharing this and I admire your strength and courage to proceed with the kid's. I was taken aback and horrified at the Trade Centers and Pentagon, but it hit to close to home for me when the plane went down in Somerset also. We live about 35 minutes from where the plane went down. Keep up the good work with the kid's.
