Wow... (Reply to this comment)

I cannot think of anything to say except why is it here instead of in a magazine, book, or other publication? This is much too good for just a website.

Inspired as Well as Educated (Reply to this comment)
by david_deacon
I learn a little from every one of your reviews, but this time I was not only educated, not just entertained, but inspired. Excellent work. Won't you at least try sending it in to _Commentary_ or some similar periodical? What's the worst they could do, send it back?

Excellent!!! (Reply to this comment)

You're especially right about the disaster that moral relativism has brought about. America has looked out for its own interest in the world first and foremost...every nation does the same. Those that argue that our foreign policy - supporting Israel and pushing consumerism and commercialism all over the globe - has wrought this, couldn't be more wrong. Blind hate and ethnic bigotry on the part of a few radical fundamentalists wrought this.
Fine writing!
My best regards,

You've pretty much said it all here, fellow, and you are 100% right. God bless America, and God help our enemies.

I was going to write a rebuttal piece to

(90% of Americans probably won't want to read this...)
Thanks for your effort in presenting the Epinions community with this great review.

My Jewish cousins will never let me live that one down. What's worse is, I know better. I knew that. If the site EVER lets me edit....

Brilliant, powerfully argued and important... (Reply to this comment)

Your tone may be harsh, but justifiably so. I shall be recommending this piece to many.
May I be so churlish, though, as to point out a small typo that you may wish to correct? Jews pray to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob (not Joseph).

I found this a disturbing piece, partly because... (Reply to this comment)

...the thought of war being waged is not a comfortable idea, but also because you didn't
seem to admit that America's foreign policy hasn't always been sqeaky clean. I certainly agree
with you that children need to hear the truth,
appropriate to their age. My three-year-old participated in the three-minute silence at her
pre-school but probably doesn't understand why.
In sympathy,

I want to leave an intelligent comment here because I was impressed with your review. But I am just a little clerical worker and can't come up with the right words.
Appreciate this review and am emailing it to my friends and family today!
