Nice job on the editorial and tips.

I am directly involved with the rescue teams. We ourselves at the American Legion in NYC started collections for the rescue team. They need nothing. They do not know what to do with al that has been given to them. It has created problesm and bottlenecks.

What the rescue teams now need are words and letters of encouragement. They are tired and frustrated. They go from ground zero to wakes, memorials and funerals. They are starting to break down.

Please encourage your local people to write to them and most of all pray for them.

the amount of supplies they are receiving.. I saw a report last night that said not to send anything right now because they have so much more than they need for the rescue workers that is is taking some of them away from what they are there for to redistribute the goods to others in New York....And not to donate blood at this time since the blood they have on hand will go bad because of the unfortunate lack of survivers they have found....So right now it's a good idea to wait and see....

I'm am so heartsick about all this..as 'm sure you and everyone else are.

Stay safe
