Beware, poor return policy!
I ordered a sound card that I couldn't get to work properly with my laptop. There were some driver issues and an electrical interference problem that I couldn't rectify (even after consulting with the soundcard maker). I figured I would have no problem sending it back for a refund since I did not damage the packaging nor the contents.
I e-mailed them three times before I finally got a terse response (essentially telling me that I hadn't emailed them that many times - calling me a liar? Why would I lie about trying to contact them?). Finally, they sent me a link to the return policy which basically said that I was screwed. It would be a 20% restocking fee to return it.
Yes, I know I should've noticed that ahead of time, but I have never dealt with a company with such a harsh penalty and the reviews on this site were so good that I wasn't vigilant.
In retrospect, it appears that the reason this company has such a good rating is because they have good prices and decent delivery. If nothing goes wrong, then they get a good rating. I think the return policy ought to figure in more heavily, though. You can read theirs at:
