I really have never heard of the artists.
I really like the review and welcome new sounds and especially from old artists.
The critque with the related linking I wondered of these artist also..."New sound?; related old sound; related pop-oriented?; likenesses I have questioned I felt take not away from the review of the artist's marketability/in fact for the linking artist's, they may be old artist with something "New to lean on"!

...yeah, i thought it was decent too, if a bit, um, "splat". i find very little grace to martey, even if her belting voice is pretty solid.
but then, martey's gone, so it's hardly worth debating anymore, right? next album -- the smorgasbord technique (a la massive attack)...now that i'm looking forward to.
excellent review -- i was actually wondering what you thought of this one.
