I just sent this Yahoo! store review to botach. I'll let it speak for itself.
I am a sucker.
I have had horrible experiences with them in the past, and each time, they promise to make it right.
Not one time have they done so. They have continually proven to the community that their ordering system and customer service is a complete failure.
No one ever returns my emails, phone calls, or voicemails. I get placed on hold, and then I get hung up on when they do not want to deal with me. I leave a voicemail, but i have yet to have a person call me back from my voicemail. I leave emails, but they get answered weeks later.
You may think I'm calling about something difficult. I'm not. I'm just calling to check on the status of my order. Botach does not inform the customer when an item is backordered. Wait, i take that back. You know your items are on backorder when you don't get your shipment or notification about your order for weeks. That's how you know when your items are backordered.
I reached through miraculously one day to a customer service rep, and she promised me tracking info that same day, or a phone call back to me letting me know they'd ship. Surprise, I didn't get any tracking info or a phone call that day.
Finally later that week, after I've almost given up on them, my order shipped. It must be a Christmas miracle, because a lot of my friends orders have been on hold for a weeks. I must be the lucky one this season.
I can't believe I gave this company another try. Even though they have decent pricing, and they are relatively local to me, I have made it a point to never order from them again. I will also make my experience clear to the law enforcement and security community. I do not want my friends to experience the horrible service that Botach has offered to me.
I would be surprised to see Botach survive past next year. Their reputation has been decreasing at an exponential speed, and there are so many other options out there. The only decent thing they have going is their pricing on certain items. However I'm willing to pay a bit more for COMPETENT customer service.
I wholeheartedly hope someone at Botach reads my comments amd makes some big changes to their company.
