target.com isTHE worst ONLINE shopping experience of my life!!

Put two items in shopping cart, proceeded to check out, shipping was WAY TOO HIGH (over $30.00). Called several local Target stores, item only available on website. Went back to shopping cart to purchase; guess I have to pay for shipping, but wait, one item mysteriously disappears from cart. Went back to retrieve item, now listed as "out of stock". Decided not to purchase other item as they were a "set". Checked a week later on availablity of Out of stock item, now BOTH items are out of stock. Called internet Customer Service Rep, friendly but totally unknowledgable ("a complete idiot"). Was given complete run around by EVERYONE; no one knows anything and will not transfer me to anyone who might know something. Item is still on website as "out of stock". Have no idea if it is on back order or discontinued. Unfortunately it is not available anywhere else or I would go somewhere else. No offers to help me from anyone at target.com.
