I ordered my Sirius One car visor radio online and received it by the date as promised on the website. Installation was fairly easy (only you end up with lengths of wires that you do not need---so make sure you install it out of the way of feet). Why, in a wireless world, do we need wires to connect to satellite radio baffles me. The most challenging part was calling customer service to activate my radio. First off, when somebody answered, I could barely hear them because it sounded as if a massive house party was taking place in the background. Thinking I had been misconnected by the phone lines, I called again, and got the same person. There were basic questions, like what's your first name. I had to spell my first name for the customer service agent five times, and there are only 6 letters in my first name. When she asked me what I would like my computer logon name to be, I told her my first name plus the numbers 99. She asked me what my first name was. When it came time to give my address, she didn't know how to spell Chicago, and also asked me what state Chicago was in. When it came time for the credit card information, I had to tell it to her three different times because she obviously couldn't identify numbers on the keypad correctly. When she asked me for my first and last name on the credit card, I laughed. I said that they were the same since the beginning of the phone call. All the while the phone call is going on, people are shouting in glee in the background and I swore I heard a loud bass from a boombox. The customer service agent did not inspire confidence from me, but my radio is activated, and I hope I never have to call Sirius ever again.
