I was working,sorting mail when it came over the radio.A plane has just hit the world trade center. Shock,disbelief,dispair,unbelief,my first words were,if is a small plane,probably terrorist. Boy was I wrong. Eighteen mintues later,out on my route,A plane has just hit the other building of the world trade center. Fear,shock,every emotion possible goes through my sickened mind. I tell a man along the road,and he doesn't believe it. Then it got worse the pentagon,the extra planes,the fear where they may hit. The realizing that America will never be the same. Grief,tears,revenge,what is going on here. The worst massacre of civalization ever. I realized that this was just like living through the decade of the sixties in one foul day. We have lost are safety,lost the sense of well being,the hope of a better tomorrow. Sorrow,heartbreak, people massacred for no reason. Americans now realize that the world is a dangerous place and that only through the death of are forefathers,uncles's were we allowed the safety and the great freedom to become to innocent and perhaps to docile. We came to expect everything to always come up roses. We were rudely awakened!!! These things I and your veterans new and appreciated,we couldn't understand why the anti's were so ignorrant. We couldn't understand why people that had eyes to see and ears to hear couldn't. We pray that America heals,survives,remembers,can again feel safe.We pray that terrorist can be educated that America is hope and as she goes so goes the world. We pray that the terrorist see enough that they may be educated. We pray that all parties are brought to justice. We pray that the muslin preacher that drew up these plans and is I believe in jail is taken out hanged and then put on life support so he can't have his rewards. All terrorist captured should be told they will almost be killed and then put on life support so they will not get there rewards for a long long time. As I have to quit sometime and time will not allow proofreading or spell check,I will move forward. I would like to see all lifetime prisoners offered to get out of jail if they could be trained 3 days and then airlifted to Afghanistan and dropped with a gun and I love America tattooed on there chest. Also young hooligans on are welfare payrolls. I have heard some say that they should draft older men and leave what few good young americans boys out of this one. If I could go instead of my 20 year old,I would in a heartbeat. I believe that we should offer Iran,Pakistine,India and any other countries surrounding Afghanistan, the part of the Afghanistan country that they can overrun and occupy in a two week period. If they sign a treaty to wipe out terrorist and agree to not support terrorism acts. Of course we could aid in fire support and whatever else needed. We could tell Israel that if they are continued to be harrassed. That they should do whatever is in there best interest. Saddam Hussien should be brought to justice or every country that aids him should be sanctioned against by every country till he is brought to a world trial. Time and space were limited so I had to do the best within the limits. I beg your forgiveness for my writing skills. I pray that we all realize how precious that life is and that we all are educated enough to come together for the benifit of mankind. I pray for America,peace and those that are suffering and those that are about to suffer. Amen  |
