Shopping at wine.com has been one of the worst experiences in over 10 yrs of on-line shopping.
I placed 24 orders but I see 29 charges on my credit card.
Also, I was told I would be getting 10% off the orders, but I do not see the discount applied to three orders.
While placing orders I got all kinds of exceptions, data that was entered earlier getting lost on the confirmation screen, modifying one order causing other orders to change etc. I was so frustrated with the problems and the overall usability of the site that I called the customer support to place the order. I was on the phone for almost 2 hrs to place 24 orders, 16 of which were going to 2 addresses. The lady who took my order seems to be using the same site to enter the order and even she seemed to be having a tough time using it.
After all this hassle, I now see that I have been charged almost $350 over what I should have been charged and not given the discount that was promised.
I sent an email over 3 working days ago and still waiting for a reply. This is one of the most disorganized, unprofessional and technically amateurish site ever. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS.
