To help my wife with the household cleaning I stopped by the local LOWE'S hardware and noticed the Mr Clean Magic Erasers. I figured,what the heck, why not give them a try and purchased a couple of boxes. That night I tried them on some hand prints by the kitchen stairs and LIKE MAGIC the dirt disappeared without damaging the paint! I was so excited I had to try the erasers on several other spots including some paint drips, shoe scuffs, and the ever-visible window sills. With light rubbing the Mr Clean erasers removed all the dirt and grime. On heavy grime it took more than one sponge but the results were FANTASTIC. Very little water is necessary to activate the product and it is very gentle on painted surfaces. Although the sponges get dirty fast - they are doing exactly what they are designed for. I'd rather have a product work than not and this product works exactly as advertised! Finally, truth in advertising. Do yourself a favor and pick up a couple of boxes and try them at home. Given the low price and excellent performance the Mr Clean Magic Eraser is a STEAL! You'll find this item a regular on your shopping list very quickly.
