You should take these matters up. I had a problem with GC a few years back during a sale. I whined and spoke directly with a very senior executive who cut me a really good deal on a new Strat. These guys seemed pretty customercentric so you might want to pursue this. If I were an executive here, I wouldn't put up with this service.
