Probably THE best game EVER

Pros:Excellent graphics, weapons, single & multiplayer gameplay, AI, levels and blood
Cons:Once you get into it it's hard to stop playing.
The Bottom Line: If you have never played, do yourself a favor and but it NOW!
I don't really like the way some first person shooters are done. They are fine for the first few days but then I get bored. Unreal Tournament is different. You don't play maps that you have to follow in a certain way to complete the level. You play bots that seem like real human opponents. And it doesn't get boring.
First, graphics in this game are excellent and I prefer them to Quake III Arena. Sound is completely immersive especially if you play with a SoundBlaster Live with 4 speaker output. The bots are like real people, and on Godlike setting, almost impossible to beat, but you can set them on several other settings to start off with.
One thing that sets this aside from others is the weapons, like the sniper rifle which is very fun if you are playing single player, the rocket launcher and even simpler weapons like normal guns, machine gun, biogun, etc. Every gun (about 10 exist) has dual fire modes making some of them act like different weapons altogether.
You also get several types of game so you don't have to play the standard Deathmatch. There is Capture the Flag, Domination, Assault (you defend and attack bases) and other mutators exist, such as Instagib. - This changes the game completely - every player gets a gun that kills opponents in one shot.
It is even better if you have a broadband internet connection or network to play over, so you don't get any lag playing against other people. It has the best interface for finding and connecting to games that I have ever seen.
Plus, it runs on most machines (although it is highly recommended you get a 3D card, I could play this on my laptop).
