Unfortunately, pressure cooking (as opposed to canning) is a whole different ballgame. The reviews of the actual small pressure cookers are more helpful for that topic, but no one has made a "Choosing" epinions on that topic yet. I hope to see one soon. I hope that the pressure cooker reviews are helpful for you.

I am planning to buy a pressure cooker, but can find precious little hard information comparing styles and models. This article alerted me to checking on the kind of pressure gauge, but didn't give me much other useful information. I don't want to can with it, just prepare quick meals. I don't know what other features are important, nor the size I should get. I would like to have a comparison of electric models versus stovetop models, etc.
