It's time for Cingular Wireless to be brought to justice !!!

Pros:Absolutely none whatsoever !!!!!!
Cons:Every possible one you can think of and more !!!!!!
The Bottom Line: Every carrier that has the coverage I require is among the poorest with quality, service, and terrible cell phone selections. Cingular is the worst, followed by Verizon.

Without a doubt, Cingular Wireless, which is now the largest cellular phone service provider in the U.S., is among the worst, if not the worst company in the business anywhere. They cannot, or perhaps will not make their system work with a phone purchased from them in one region and later used in another region. Each time they are contacted for help they provide a completely different answer as to the reason or reasons for the problem. Ultimately they always end up putting the blame on the customer for moving from one state to another, by stating that you just have to suck it up and purchase another new phone for the new region. Then they try to use the occasion to sell a new phone with another new contract for another 2 years of poor service to lock you in to them again. When confronted with the customer's desire to terminate the contract early because of the fact that their system does not work as advertised and agreed to in their contract with the customer, they deny any responsibility and refuse to let the customer out of the contract without a cancellation fee.

In addition, if you complain too much about their poor service, etc., they simply hang up on the customer. After waiting on line up to an hour or more at times trying to reach them, they figure the customer will not bother to call back. Also, several agents stated that if the customer did not like the service they could go to another carrier, but they must pay the cancellation fee first. They also said that customers come and go everyday, and that for every customer that left their service, there was another one replacing them because they are the biggest. Go figure.

It appears that it is time for a class action law suit to bring against this overbearing and despicable company. Any one wishing to join such a law suit against this company, please contact your attorney or one who specializes in class action law suits, and please respond to this comment as well.
