WE live in Queens and my sons school is right across the East River from Manhattan. The lunch room has a beautiful view of the sky line. As I drive him to school, we see the skyline, and you are right nothing will ever be the same.

horror, still do, but now it's mingled with a pride in America I never felt before or a love of country and principals....
God Bless America...
Thanks for sharing your thoughts...It's a good catharsis isn't it??...
Take care and stay safe

In the face of this (Reply to this comment)

...Tradgedy we are a changed world, we will never be the same but I am not sure that we have ever seen the outpouring of Love and support for our fellow man than we are seeing right now, Although this was a devastating to us as a people, I am beginning to realize that we are closer to each other now than we have ever been before, I think that we have been changed in a positive sense as well because we are all in this together and perhaps we will be different in a good way as well. I know that personally I will never sing our National Anthem in the same way again, we
will never look at our flag again or say the pledge of Allegiance without it having a much greater meaning for us. God Bless us all!
