Have not been able to make myself rent Henry V yet. I tend to avoid Shakespeare's histories more than the comedies and tragedies, but one of these days I may get around to it. Thanks for the comment!

Some great picks here, and *blush* a couple I just haven't gotten around to yet! I have to say that I actually preferred Gibson's Hamlet over Brannagh's, which surprised me. It all came down to the line, "Words, words...words." for me. Mel delivered it just as I always imagined it should be, but many people refuse to admit liking this version at all simply because it's Mel.
I think Brannagh has done an excellent job adapting Shakespeare to the screen though. You mentioned one of my all time favorites, Much Ado, but I saw no mention of his Henry V so I just had to ask if you have seen it? Great review in a difficult category. ~Q~
