The Bottom Line At leat it gives Ebay some competition - or else where could we go when ebay is "down". Nice that it's there,
but definitely Second best.

I've really tried. I try to find a bargain on Yahoo, but
I can't
I hate their search engine (which has improved over the last few months, I admit, but it's still bad.) When you finally get a listing somewhat similar to what you were
looking for, you have to wade through all the auctions
to find a "buy it now" type add.. it's not indicated on
the outside line.
The worst part I have found is that a few sellers monopolize the entire category. You want Byers Choice??
There might only be three sellers and one of them has
30 of the 35 items. Same with Fisher Price toys, etc.
Those larger sellers put a reserve price on their item and
won't sell for a bargain price. I like the "free for all" attitude on ebay. You have a item, you don't want it, start the bidding at $1. and see what happens!!! I've gotten a few good deals that way.
I still check Yahoo every so often to add to my collectibles but after I do it, I think to myself,
"why did I bother?"
