Pros: Snappy acceleration with smooth curve, good torque, favorable mpg. Good comfort while driving.
Cons: Cup holder,'c' pillar, trunk, back seats, defrost could be better.

Someone said that is a "rolling piece of art", yet still fun. Don't get me wrong, I like the beetle. Solid, responsive and fun to drive. Our Turbo has not yet been a disappointment. It was a little cramped at times and does tend to attract the worst SUV jerks tail gating us, but it never failed to leave them in the dust when the turbo kicked in. Our vacation trip was for the first time fun when driving around town. Sure, a bigger car might yield comfort extras, but thats not why you have the Beetle on your list for purchase. German serious performance and a lively fun package. Do look out for the blind spot due to the rear pillar. A work around is to approach merges for example with a bit more acute angle and for the tough situations, crank the window down and stick your head out...let them see your smile. Its the car that fit like a glove and delivers a little more easy going feel.
